Built to Solve Persistent German Roach Problems

German roaches are the smaller, tan-colored roaches you find in kitchens, bathrooms, and around appliances. They live and reproduce exclusively indoors and can infest a home rapidly. This program is specifically designed to eliminate German roach infestations using professional-grade methods that store-bought products simply can't replicate.

Palmetto bugs (American cockroaches) are a different pest — large, dark-colored, and primarily outdoor. They enter homes through gaps, drains, and vents seeking moisture and shelter. Palmetto bug control is addressed through our Pest Defense perimeter treatment program, not this service.

Not sure which one you're dealing with? See our German roaches vs. palmetto bugs guide for a side-by-side comparison.

    Rapid Reproduction

German roaches can go from egg to reproducing adult in as little as 45 days.

    Hidden Infestations

Roaches hide in wall voids, behind appliances, and inside cabinets — often unseen until populations are large.

    Health Risks

Cockroach allergens are a known trigger for asthma, especially in children.

    OTC Products Fail

Sprays scatter roaches, making infestations harder to treat. Professional baiting is far more effective.

    Our Advanced Roach Elimination Process

    • Targeted InspectionWe identify the full extent of the infestation — including nesting areas, harborage zones, and contributing conditions. German roaches in particular require us to find and treat where they harbor, not just where you see them.
    • Professional Gel BaitingWe use professional-grade gel baits placed precisely in harborage areas. Roaches feed on the bait and carry it back to the nest, spreading it through the population. This is far more effective than sprays, which only kill on contact.
    • Insect Growth Regulators (IGRs)IGRs disrupt the roach reproductive cycle, preventing eggs from hatching and nymphs from maturing. This is a critical step in breaking the breeding cycle and preventing populations from rebuilding after treatment.
    • Follow-Up & Population ReductionGerman roach infestations rarely resolve in a single visit. We schedule follow-up services as needed to confirm the infestation is collapsing and ensure long-term elimination — not just a temporary knockdown.

    What to Expect

After treatment, it is normal to see increased roach activity for the first few days as insects are affected by the bait and IGRs. This is a sign the treatment is working. Most customers see a significant reduction in activity within 2–4 weeks, with continued improvement over the following weeks as the breeding cycle is interrupted.

German roach infestations require patience and a multi-step approach. We'll be honest with you about what to expect — and we'll be there throughout the process to see it through.

How to Prepare for Your Treatment

Proper preparation helps our treatment work more effectively. Please complete these steps before your scheduled appointment:

    • Do NOT spray any over-the-counter insecticide sprays before our visit. Sprays repel roaches away from the professional bait and significantly reduce effectiveness.
    • Clean kitchen surfaces — wipe down counters, stovetop, and around appliances so bait placement areas are accessible.
    • Remove standing water from sinks and fix any dripping faucets if possible — roaches need water to survive.
    • Clear under-sink cabinets so the technician can access these prime harborage areas.
    • Put away loose food and store pantry items in sealed containers.
    • Vacuum and sweep floors to remove food crumbs and debris that compete with the bait.

Your technician will provide any additional preparation instructions specific to your home when you schedule.
